September, October, November, December 2024 Exhibitions The Green Man Gallery Autumn Collection Extensive and ever-changing exhibitions of paintings, drawings, mixed media, printmaking, photography, ceramics, glass, textiles, jewellery, prints and cards by the gallery’s Resident Artists and Guest Designer Makers. Two and half floors of original art and craft. Open Studios Our Resident Artists’ studios on the first floor are open to the public. You are welcome to look round, even when artists are not present, or call in for a chat when they are. Friday 4th to Wednesday 30th October: Guest Exhibition Tales for Trembling Peasants – Paintings by Jenny C. Black Macclesfield-based artist Jenny C. Black returns to The Green Man with the sequel to her triumphant 2023 exhibition 'The Wild Hunt'. In this new series, Jenny presents reinterpretations of classic tropes from medieval art and English superstition. At once dream-like and familiar, the images affectionately highlight how little we’ve changed from our pre-enlightenment roots to our present age of rationality.
