Linda Mustapha

I am an American artist who lives in The High Peak.

My travels as an Art Teacher have taken me from the USA to Outback Australia, where I was introduced to vibrant colours and patterns from nature/landscape,then England, where plants and shapes and took another direction.

The work I create is inspired from the intricate lines in nature, which surprise me all the time,with all its mathematics and imperfections.

This is why I admire the artist Aubrey Beardsley, and his use of black and white, to transform a simple image into a powerful drawing,that engages the viewer to look beyond simple lines...
