Bring your favourite sketching materials and sketchbook; bring snacks to keep you going and please dress for the weather! You can return to the the gallery at any time and buy coffee, tea, hot chocolate, herb teas and biscuits.
The group welcomes beginners and experienced artists alike. It’s an open, encouraging group that will include plenty of people who will help you learn. What’s more, it’s free to take part.

Buxton Sketchers is led by Geoff Chilton, one of the resident artists at The Green Man Gallery. He is also part of the Manchester Urban Sketchers and a former member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Art.
