Amanda O'Neill

Picture

I work in clay to make small sculptures based on animals and the natural world, particularly, but not exclusively, endangered species and mammals and birds from the British Isles. My style is representational but with an attempt to portray character through a slight exaggeration of features.

I also produce lino prints of similar subjects, sometimes in a semi-abstract way. I intend to continue to develop my printmaking by including other techniques such as drypoint.

Along with Geoff Chilton, Amanda is one half of Earth Pig Pottery
