Exhibitions The Green Man Gallery Spring Collection Extensive and exhibitions by our Resident Artists and Guest Designer Makers including: paintings in oils, acrylics, watercolours and mixed media; oil pastels; pencil drawings; linocuts, monoprints, collagraphs, etchings and woodblock prints; photography; ceramics; textiles; jewellery; mounted prints and a wide range of cards. Open Studios Visit our Resident Artists' studios on the first floor. You are welcome to go in and view work in progress or chat to the artists when they are working. Friday 29th March to Wednesday 24th April: The Spring Gathering Open Exhibition 2024 Our annual open exhibition is a celebration of the huge range of original work being created across our region. This year's exhibition showcases 2D and 3D work by 51 artists. Entry is free. Friday 26th April to Wednesday 22nd May: A Sense of Place - Katherine Stephenson - Hope Valley Glass Art Based in the Hope Valley, Katherine produces a range of original contemporary, high quality affordable fused glass art. This includes semi-abstract layered landscape/seascapes and unique freestanding glass statement pieces. For more information and booking, contact Costa directly at artsinthepeaks@hotmail.com Live Music Saturday 13th April: Quinta - Contemporary Jazz with a Twist Quinta's line-up features saxophone (Mike Dale), trumpet (Bob Dinn), piano (Barry Mansfield), bass (Warwick Stephenson) and drums (Huw Owens). They provide a refreshing change for lovers of jazz. Harmonically and rhythmically diverse, this intriguing five-piece combo brings new shades of texture and meaning to a varied and interesting programme of modern, contemporary and world jazz. Buxton Festival Fringe - 3rd to 21st July This year we are hosting 70 performances including Comedy, Music, Spoken Word and Theatre plus four Visual Arts events during Buxton Fringe.
